Get to know your team better and bond with a beautiful hike at Steep Rock in Washington, CT. Or, use this adventure as an invigorating break from business meetings during your corporate retreat. We will transport you to this beautiful area where you will enjoy a hike and an arranged gourmet picnic lunch.

Depending on budget, number of attendees, etc., we will arrange for all details for you from transportation, meals, meeting needs, and entertainment. Please inquire about how we can meet your needs.

SUGGESTED ITINERARY FOR YOUR Corporate Retreat:

DAY 1

Guests arrive

5pm Welcome reception featuring wine from local vineyard, Sunset Meadow Vineyard, and details of weekend provided to all guests

7pm Dinner arranged at one of our area preferred restaurants within walking distance of the Inn

DAY 2

8am Made to order breakfast at the Heritage Inn

9am Transportation to Steep Rock, Washington, CT (25 minutes)

9:30am Begin Hike

11:30am Break for Picnic Lunch

1pm Transportation back to the Inn

1:30pm Afternoon Activities (Massage appointments, Shopping, Meetings, etc.)

Guests may take advantage of shopping district with exclusive discounts or company may want to arrange for a special movie showing for its employees at the historic Bank Street Theater

7pm Casual dinner brought in; then Homeward Bound Corporate Shopping Night and/or Tickets to the Bank Street Theatre

DAY 3

8am Light Breakfast and Check out

The Steep Rock Association is one of the oldest land trusts in the state of Connecticut.

Today Steep Rock owns more than 2,426 acres of land and holds over 2,348 acres protected with conservation easements, a total of over 4,774 acres of preserved land. It is a member-supported, non-profit tax exempt (501 (c) 3) organization. Admission to Steep Rock is FREE and open to the public.
