We are providing our guests with exclusive opportunities and access they will not get anywhere else. Step into this beautiful New England town at the gateway of the Litchfield Hills and take advantage of all that we have created for you. This town is steeped in history and has come alive in recent years. We are thrilled to be able to share it with you.

New Milford is a destination and second home for many notable celebrities including famed authors, movie stars and giants of industry. Come explore, rejuvenate, regroup and get inspired.

The Heritage Inn

Ideal for corporate clients reserving the entire Inn, the 420 sq ft refurbished front breakfast room can be used for meetings. It can be set up to reflect your meeting style: informal; small tables; large conference style set-up. We offer WiFi and will coordinate your A/V needs on your behalf.

The Train Station

Years ago, New Milford had a functional train station that has since been restored to it’s original beauty and is for use for private meetings and events. Just steps from our front porch, this is a unique 1200 sq ft venue to hold your meeting. It measures 56‘x23’ and can hold up to 40 chairs and up to 73 people, standing. Enjoy the beautiful woods, old fixtures and architectural details of days gone by. We will supply any menu from our caterers and local restaurants or snacks for the day depending on your needs. The space has two restrooms.

The Bank Street Theater

Over a half million dollars has been invested to transform the 70 year-old Art Deco style theater into a jewel of the community and a superior cinema presentation facility just a block and a half from the Inn. It also offers the opportunity for a unique meeting and presentation venue. What better way to capture your group’s attention but on the big screen? For a bit of whimsy, we will add movie snacks and drinks.

Every system, wall surface and fixture has been either replaced or dramatically upgraded to create a state-of- the -art theater environment. The theatre is equipped with a PA system, podium, and ability to plug and play your presentation from any laptop onto the big screen. The lavish new auditoriums offer new Irwin Marquee high back chairs, cupholder armrests and new drapery, carpeting and paint throughout. The screen sizes have been increased in two auditoriums to stretch to 20 feet wide.

The exterior of the theater has undergone restoration and remodeling to enhance its Art Deco black and white Carrara glass facade. The building has been designated as a historical landmark by both the Connecticut and National Trusts for Historic Preservation. The renovations revealed two architectural features of the building not seen by the public in over 50 years. In the lobby, a previously covered, decorative terrazzo stone floor has been restored, and a pressed tin ceiling with soffet lights has been revealed underneath the old marquee.

The theater was created from the brick shell of the old Green Hotel, which was one of the very few building left standing after 80% of the commercial buildings in the historic village were devastated by the fire of 1902. The owner of the Star Theater, a silent movie house across the street from this building, moved his business into this specially designed cinema which opened in 1920. Known as the Twentieth Century New Milford Theater, this renovated structure was outfitted with a massive new steel skeleton. The theater was remodeled in 1937 and has been operating continuously since then, except for five years of darkness in the early 1970's.

Client may bring in laptop, CD or DVD for presentation. Podium provided upon request.
